| Bio: | I'm 28 yrs old and an MDiv student at Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) in Charlotte, NC. I received my Master of Art in Biblical Studies at the University of Mobile. I graduated from Huntingdon College with BA's in Math and Religion. The best word to describe me is: eclectic. Sometimes I feel like I have split personality without actually having split personality. Let me explain. There's the part of me that's into Action movies, Christian hardcore and metal music(Tourniquet, Zao, Demon Hunter, Living Sacrifice, etc.), and sci-fi/fantasy books (mainly LOTR, Star Wars, and Chronicles of Narnia). Then I can easily transition into classic black and white movies (Arsenic and Old Lace, Hitchcock movies, anything with Christopher Lee or Vincent Price, etc.), classical music(Beethoven is my fav), and Shakespeare. Don't forget sports! I'm a diehard Alabama and Florida St. football fan! I hope to be a college professor one day in Religion or Christian studies. I'd especially like to focus on Church History, Systematic Theology and/or Reformation studies. I am a Christian and adhere to classical Calvinism (not hyper or anything below 5 point) in my theological perspective. I am Presbyterian in my ecclesiology, Covenantal in my hermeneutic, and have Amillennial/Partial Preterist leanings (I say leanings because I haven't studied in depth enough to say I firmly stand in the camp). I'm especially fasicnated by the "Covenant of Works" concept with Adam which is fulfilled in the active obedience of Christ. Soli Deo Gloria | |||||
